Our voice is medicine, the sacred instrument we were all born with. It is our soul’s outward expression, a portal to self-love and to our most authentic selves.

Yet so many of us have learned to quiet ourselves. We hold ourselves back from sharing our truth and our voice. We make ourselves smaller out of fear, self-doubt, and shame. By denying our full expression, we not only abandon ourselves; we deny the world our gifts.

Each of our voices carries its own unique vibration. And now, perhaps more than ever, every one of our precious voices is needed for the healing of ourselves and our planet.

We are all sound beings: beautiful, complex instruments made for singing, sounding, and deep listening.

By tapping into the voice as the multi-faceted, sacred instrument that it is, we gain access to our vast potential.

We learn to show up as our own healers, with the power to uplift, soothe, and ground ourselves, clear stuck energy, and connect to our pure essence.

We tap into states of deep presence, embodiment, and joy.

What is available to each of us – just through our own voice – is astounding. Inside of us is an infinite resource that holds the key to feeling at home in ourselves: in our bodies, minds, and hearts.

How can we wait any longer to connect with this potent part of ourselves?

It’s time to step into our fullest, most authentic expression.

It’s time to RECLAIM the voice you were born with and meant to share.

HOW IT WORKS |||>>>

RECLAIM is a 3-month journey of re-membering your authentic voice, while embraced in community and a loving container.

We meet ten times over three months for a live 90-minute session, which includes embodiment, breath and sounding exercises, personal inquiry, meditation, call & response singing, ancient and contemporary vocal practices, and vocal transmission.

In each session, we explore new content and practices based on the weekly theme, with ample time for sharing, engagement, partner exercises, and deep listening. After each session, you receive guided practices, recordings, and prompts to continue the work and grow a home practice that supports your process.

You also receive:

THREE 1:1 sessions with Jessica:

|||>>> TWO one-hour Sonic Embodiment sessions to work with any aspect of voice that is arising for you, and

|||>>> ONE 30-minute integration session at the close of the program to ensure you leave with everything you need to sustain your loving relationship with your voice.

  • We begin by inviting our inner child to the journey. The inner child is the one without inhibitions, free from conditioning and at ease in expressing herself. She lets sounds move through her with abandon, and without judgment. By re-connecting with that playful one – who for many of us only existed pre-verbally – we invite wonder and curiosity into our relationship with our voice. We also invite all the parts of ourselves to the experience – even the parts that we’ve rejected. By inviting all these parts, we are literally re-membering the authentic voice: bringing together the pieces of ourselves we’ve cast aside so that we can live into our truest essence.

  • The voice itself is energy, a tool we can access to profoundly impact our energetic body. We explore using the voice to release blocks in our energetic centers by tapping into the power of ancient seed syllables. We also work with resonance in our body, and our own intuitive capacity to open the physical and energetic body with our sound. Embodiment is a thread throughout the journey, and a foundation of this work. Somatic practices and movement medicine are key pieces in the work of coming home to our authentic voice.

  • Sound is the force of creation and manifestation, and we ourselves are the creatrixes of our lives. Our words and thoughts hold power; what we speak and think manifests in the world. We work with the power of intention-setting and speaking our truth and desires to create the reality we desire. We also explore powerful sound practices for manifestation, and ways to nurture our creative selves.

  • Deep listening – listening with our whole selves – is at the heart of this work. It is a form of devotion, a way of compassionate relating to oneself and to others. When we access deep listening, we can hear the inner voice more clearly, access our intuition, and live more fully in a state of awakened presence. In sound and song, deep listening helps to tune our instrument, and open up parts of the voice that have perhaps laid dormant.

  • Our ancestors sang – as a form of prayer, ritual, connection, and celebration. It is our birthright to sing and sound in this way; working with ancestral songs can open up that primal connection to our voice and to our lineage. Our voice can also be a pure channel to our past, and a way we can heal ancestral trauma and release ancestral patterns.

  • As we cultivate a deeper connection with our whole instrument, we allow sound to move through us intuitively, accessing parts of ourselves we’ve perhaps cast aside, or that live in the realm of the wordless. Our sound becomes a portal for our inner world to express itself, to release emotion without the attachment to story, and to hold and integrate the marginalized parts of ourselves.

  • Medicine melodies exist in nearly every language, tradition, and religion around the world. As we near the close of the container, we open up to our capacity to receive our own medicine melodies – our own healing heart-songs that can connect us with the unseen and elemental beings.

“I believe that everyone can – and should – sing. It is our birthright. We are, quite literally, sound beings, a tapestry of vibrating cells. When we invite authentic sound to move through us freely, our bodies sing & our spirit flieS.”

“RECLAIM met and exceeded my expectations. It provided a nurturing space for me to grow and connect with myself on a profound level. I awakened my voice and my soul; I connected with my inner child, my ancestors and the universe. I developed a practice that I can continue on an ongoing basis. I also met some pretty badass women whom I plan to remain connected to. It was a truly fulfilling experience that I highly recommend.”

Jessica Bonds, social worker/sound practitioner

I feel very grateful for the experience. It was a real gift to be vulnerable in such a safe and supportive environment. I walk away feeling empowered to keep on accessing that vulnerable part of myself and voice and to trust that I will be caught and received with love by those my work resonates with.

-Miriam Waks, professional singer

Beth Weinstein, Spiritual Business Coach & Podcast Host: The Psychedelic Entrepreneur

“This course was amazing for me – from an awareness standpoint of myself, to loving my voice and re-establishing a relationship with my voice, to learning that it is my superpower and feeling so empowered by it…This course affected my life in a very big way, and I am so incredibly grateful for it. Every year for the past three years, I believe God has sent me a miracle in February. I didn’t know it when I saw [Jessica’s] email in February, but this program was my miracle this year.”

Atthena, yoga teacher/healer

Some of the practices were very healing, and allowed deeper expression of emotions, connection with energy of my ancestors, body wisdom, and soul expression. The medicine aspect of voice expression and singing practices aligned with intention was helpful and powerful. I noticed that I always felt more energized and grounded after a one-on-one with Jessica, or after the group practice. Jessica is an amazing facilitator: kind, intuitive, and receptive to the needs of the group.

-Maria, Therapist

I really gained a lot from the experience. Being someone who’s been carrying a lot of tension in my diaphragm, my stomach, and my throat, just learning how to work with vocalization and sound and use my body as an instrument…to learn how to release tension, has been a really beautiful realization and tool. It was helpful learning different methods to do that, from embodied intuitive sounding work to more melodic and spiritual practices. It was also really sweet to be able to work in a group in the moments that we communicated through sound to hear, witness, and receive one another’s sounds and the vulnerability of that, and practice holding space. I found that really beautiful.

-Gili, multimedia artist

“My intention coming into the journey was gaining confidence in speaking my truth and what is important to me…I am now free to express myself, and that includes choosing with whom and in what spaces I choose to do so. I do not need to explain or apologize for being authentic – and I am no longer uncomfortable being misunderstood. In fact, I feel incredibly liberated from the weight of people pleasing.”

Glenna Neece, feminine embodiment coach

What Jessica is offering in this space is of incredible value, especially because I find her so embodied in her own vessel, so in touch also with the Earth, and the element of water. The voice is this incredible tool for me – it brings me back to those calmer waters or truer waters within myself. And also, I feel that now, through the voice, I can connect with the waters of others, or get them in touch with their own waters. Jessica is a very gifted teacher. Her own vocal expression is really exquisite.

-Isabelle, wellness practitioner & Marketing

“Some of the reflections that I received [during RECLAIM] on my ability to evoke emotion and healing with my voice is informing my life path. During the program, I grew the confidence to share my music with people I know. Jess is a skilled space-holder, with nurturing feminine earth mama presence and a light heart. In every step and moment I could feel the love, care, and attention she put into creating and leading this experience for us.”

My voice journey…

I was deeply connected to my singing voice from the moment I could speak. As a child, I was always singing, crafting my own songs, and performing plays for my family. By the age of 7, I was happily performing on stages outside my home, which continued for decades. Yet while I had identified as a “singer,” it wasn't until some deep ‘sonic spelunking’ in my 30's - inspired by my spiritual path, and a few influential teachers - that I discovered, or rather, re-membered, my authentic voice. Unlike my “singer's voice” that had strived to emulate some sound outside of me, I realized the true voice holds all of our parts (and beyond): the scared and courageous, the sad and joyful, the beautiful and ugly, the child and crone, the parts that want to be seen and parts that want to hide. It holds our ancestors and dreams, our past and future.

Since this game-changing evolution, I've been guiding others to connect with their authentic voice through the work I call SONIC EMBODIMENT. The work is an amalgam of the many pieces that have served my vocal re-membering, from ancient meditative sound practices to spontaneous, intuitive sounding, and somatic practices.

In early 2021, after years of working one-on-one with women in vocal embodiment, I launched RECLAIM, manifesting my dream of leading a group of women through this process together. Having experienced the alchemy of women working together in intentional spaces, I knew that doing this work together would expand it exponentially. This is the fifth installation of RECLAIM, and the journey continues to deepen for myself and participants. The mirroring, reflections, and interconnectivity we experience through engaging in this process is quite simply magic – a reminder that we truly are better together.

Frequently Asked Questions…

  • Absolutely not! This work is meant for all voices. We’ve had participants across the spectrum of experience, from professional singers/musicians to women who have been led to believe they “can’t sing.” All are truly welcome in this space.

  • You’ve come to the right place, babe. This is a space that encourages self-love, acceptance, and compassionate listening both to others, and yourself. You will be held in a loving and intentional container of women, and gently invited to be seen and heard.

  • It’s important to be present for all the live sessions, if possible, since engagement is part of the experience, and the live transmission tends to be more potent. If something important comes up for you, the session will be recorded and shared with the group. In order to respect everyone’s privacy and maintain a safe container, we will not record any parts of the session where students are sharing or sounding/singing on their own.

  • Yes. There will be Home-Play (think of your practice as play!) offered between sessions, which will include meditations, call and response recordings, journaling, and other voice and sound practices, all available in one place via Thinkific. The more time you put into practice outside of sessions, the more you’re likely to gain from the experience. That said, practices can be as short as 15 to 20 minutes at a time. Consistency is key. Committing to 20 minutes three times a week is an excellent start.

  • I will likely continue to offer this program, but can't guarantee that it will necessarily be available at this price. I’ve been getting requests for a RECLAIM 2.0, so that may be the next offering. Stay tuned!

“RECLAIM allowed me to open a new creative channel and develop a daily singing practice. It encouraged me to look inwards and to continue my healing work through sounding and singing. It pulled me away from whatever was telling me “I can’t” and to embrace curiosity, practice, and the sound of my own voice! It also opened me up to a wonderful community of women who I have so much to learn from and to be inspired by.”
