I’m excited to be a part of the Listening Party, a celebration of a semester-long workshop series led by Sady Sullivan that brought together 12 artists and scholars from The Laundromat Project and the CUNY community. I’ll be offering a sound bath as part of the event, which will also include sharing of audio and new oral history interviews from their collaborative exploration into voice, multiplicity, and listening with radical empathy.

Audience members will be asked to participate as activated embodied listeners—How do we hear? How do we feel? How do we resonate?
